The Golden Tower is a remarkable skyscraper located in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project was first proposed in 2012, and it was signed off by various contractors, including Acoustics: RWDI, Façade: Ramboll Group, Façade Maintenance: Access Advisors Ltd., Quantity Surveyor: AECOM, Vertical Transportation: Lerch Bates, Elevator: ThyssenKrupp, Formwork: Doka GmbH, and Post-Tensioning: CCL.
The project was approved by local authorities in February 2012, and the demolition of the site was completed just two months later in April. The site preparation was then completed by December of that year, and the foundation work was completed by July 2013.
The exterior work of the Golden Tower was completed in November 2015, and the internal work was completed in May 2017. After extensive inspections, the project was finally completed in September 2018, marking a significant milestone in the development of Jeddah's skyline.
The tower is designed to be both visually striking and highly functional, with state-of-the-art technology and amenities, including high-speed elevators, advanced security systems, and a modern ventilation system. The building serves as a mixed-use development, featuring residential, commercial, and office spaces, further adding to its significance as an important landmark in Jeddah. Overall, the Golden Tower is a symbol of progress and modernity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it has become a cherished part of the city's skyline.
